My boys are true BOYS. They love shooting their airsoft guns, nerf guns and even slingshots. My oldest son decided he wanted to make his own slingshot. Needless to say, after he made the first one, he begged for me to take him to Walmart to pick up more Gatorade bottles so he could make more for friends. Check out this fun craft for older boys! What seasonings and spices do you use most? For us, it is most definitely GARLIC powder, salt, and pepper. I love Italian foods but I find myself adding garlic to almost every recipe (Italian or not). Making my own garlic powder has been on my mind for a while but I had never tried it. It seemed intimidating to me. The Electric Mill by Kyocera made it incredibly easy! I can’t believe I waited this long to make it myself!
My friend’s mom always brought her homemade macaroni and cheese to any gathering we had. My husband and I both loved it so much so one day, I watched her make it and decided to try it myself! Making your own laundry soap is one of the best ways to save money and live green. Laundry soap is very easy to make and won’t contain all the harsh chemicals of store-bought detergents like phenol, sulfates and fragrances. Many recipes call for washing soda and/or Borax which can be found in the laundry and cleaning aisles of your local store. Washing soda removes dirt and odors while Borax is a laundry whitener and deodorizer.
