Family Movie – Playing With Fire
Sometimes, a family movie night is what the doctor orders. We had dealt with quite a bit of sickness over the last two weeks. We had several night’s of laying on the couch watching everyone’s favorite shows. Problem is, we have a wide range of ages in our home which also means we have a wide range of likes and dislikes. So, most of the week, we just “dealt with what the other person picked to watch” and took turns picking. We had received the movie, “Playing With Fire” as a review. Thankfully, it was a movie my oldest (17) had been anxious to see but it was entertaining enough and clean for even my 6 year old. We were all able to enjoy the movie!

I am of the mind that the cartoons when I was a kid are far better than any offered today, our toys were cooler even though not as technologically advanced and the stuff we did was just, well better. I am the one who when on family vacations has to stop by that one “cool” store that has all the shirts, cups and collectibles from my childhood.

These last few weeks have been a humbling reminder that family time is SO important. I have always been a big “family girl”. I love spending quality time with family more than most people but had gotten in a bit of a rut with turning my focus on more nonsense stuff. These last few weeks have been a much-needed eye-opener.
