Carowinds Taste of the Season

Let’s be honest, 2020 has been a CRAZY year. Each time I think it is getting back to normal or leveling off it is as if I can hear the calendar scream “plot twist!!!”. No doubt the many mandates and guidelines have altered so many things. While I love the part about us being home more as a family, I miss going places for entertainment purposes. When you have five people in a house with two teens sharing a room, sometimes everyone needs a break… especially mom and dad!

Going to New York City anytime is exciting. Just ask one of the 61.5 million tourists that visit every year. My husband had never been to New York City before so he wanted to see as much of the city as possible in the short time we had there. The wind was brisk, making it miserable some of the days to walk through the city for long. There was so much to see, so little time, and it was cold. My husband is a good guy and all but being the true southerner he is, he and the chilly weather were not a good combination. The odds were working against us a little.
