How To Maximize Your Day At Camelbeach Outdoor Waterpark: Tips For Waterpark Enthusiasts Amy Smith, August 4, 2025August 5, 2025 Did you know that Camelbeach Outdoor Waterpark hosts over 37 thrilling water attractions, making it the largest outdoor waterpark in Pennsylvania? If you’re a waterpark enthusiast eager to make the most of your visit, knowing how to maximize your day at Camelbeach Outdoor Waterpark can turn an ordinary outing into an unforgettable adventure. In this article, we’ll share essential tips and insider secrets to help you navigate the park efficiently, avoid long lines, and enjoy every splash-tastic moment. Get ready to dive into a world of fun and excitement! Tips on Arrival, Departure, and Everything In Between We have been to many waterparks all across the country and, as a family, agreed that Camelbeach is one that we had the least wait times. Some of this may be due to the fact that they have so many more rides available, and they also have an indoor waterpark on site. Regardless of the reason, we were thankful that they had so many rides to choose from with fairly short wait times. As with everything, there is always a way to cut down on some of the wait. Here are a few tips from my family: Arriving early at Camelbeach Outdoor Waterpark is the secret weapon for maximizing your fun. The park opens its gates to a refreshing calm before the crowds hit, allowing you to tackle the most popular rides with minimal wait times. Being at the park early so that you have time to park and get in line for entry before the park even opens gets you to the rides immediately. This is your golden hour (or honestly, a few hours) — an opportunity to conquer thrilling attractions like High Noon Typhoon, Sand Storm, or Flow Rider before the lines grow. If you’re visiting without kids, consider taking advantage of the afternoon lull when many families head back to their resort rooms for nap time. This can be your chance to enjoy the park at a more leisurely pace, soaking in the sun and perhaps indulging in a few quieter attractions. As you plan your day, remember to check Camelbeach’s schedule for any special events or promotions that might be happening. These can draw larger crowds, especially on weekends, so if you have a season pass, consider timing your visits around these busier periods. Use those peak hours — typically from 3 PM to 5 PM — for a snack break, take a nap on a lounge chair, or to explore less crowded areas of the park, like the wave pool or kids’ play zones. With a little strategy and an early start, your visit to Camelbeach can be filled with non-stop excitement and relaxation, ensuring you make the most of every splash! Options for Protecting Your Belongings When visiting Camebeach, safeguarding your belongings should be a top priority to ensure a worry-free day of fun. Utilizing the digital lockers offers a seamless experience — just swipe your credit card and you’re set! These lockers, strategically located near the main entrance, breezeway, and Annex Changing Rooms, provide both convenience and security without the hassle of managing a key. With prices starting at $15 on weekdays for small lockers, it’s an affordable way to keep your valuables safe while you enjoy the attractions. Opting for a private cabana elevates your experience but comes with its own considerations. While lounging in a VIP cabana might feel like a fortress, it’s still wise to keep an eye on your belongings or use the locker system for your most valuable items. Although it may seem tempting to leave things out in the sun, remember that even in a more secure setting, theft can happen. Waterproof pouches are another great accessory, allowing you to take your phone along on rides without worrying about water damage. These are sold in the The Loft, but if you forget, like I did, The Loft has you covered! Stop by, and they can hook you up with a pouch that you can keep for other adventures on your trip as well. This allows you to keep your phone with you so you can take pictures to remember all your excellent memories! By combining these protective measures, you can fully immerse yourself in the thrills of Camebeach without the nagging concern of lost or stolen items. For every great thing, there is a price to be paid. However, I have a few tips on how to get the most bang for your buck! For the 2025 season, day tickets are $39 and twilight tickets are $27. If you plan to spend a week in Tannersville, and would like to pop in and out of the park, you may consider a season pass even if you don’t live in the area.
