Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in Just 24 Hours
Philadelphia is the home to history, detailed architecture, and a plethora of things to see and do. A day in Philadelphia is not nearly enough time to explore the whole city. What if you only had 24 hours? Here is what we did in a little under 24 hours in Philadelphia.
A Kings Dominion Vacation
Many think of amusement parks as a one-day event. Turn your fun-filled day into a vacation at Kings Dominion. We did and had a GREAT time! Let me tell you all about it!
History of the Liberty Bell
According to old American tradition, the Liberty Bell let out a chime that changed the world on July 8, 1776. The bell summoned citizens of Philadelphia as it rang from the tower of Independence Hall. The citizens of Philadelphia would become the first to hear the public reading of the Declaration of Independence by Colonel John Nixon.
Kings Dominion KOA Completes The Kings Dominion Experience
With our recent trip to Kings Dominion, we needed to find a place to stay for a couple of nights. Since we live four hours away, we wanted to find a place near the park. We wanted to be nearby so we could check into the day before attending the park. That way, we could be at the gate as early as possible. Knowing it would be a late night (since we would stay all day), we figured we would spend the night after a day at the park, as well.
Kings Dominion Dining Plan
When thinking of visiting Kings Dominion, no doubt the mind quickly goes to the amazing rides and attractions. While fun and entertainment may be the main attraction, Kings Dominion, with its excellent and wide variety of food, has made its food experience an attraction within itself!
