What Tomorrow Holds Amy Smith, September 7, 2020April 4, 2024 Proverbs 27:1 Boast not thyself of tomorrow; for though knowest not what a day may bring forth. No one knows what tomorrow holds except God. We should live each day like it’s our last. This study really spoke to my heart this morning. Why put off what can be done today for tomorrow? I have been known to be a procrastinator. What about you? Let’s see what Dr. Mark Agan says about What Tomorrow Holds: “First, look at your own life. We don’t know when our day to pass on to eternity will come. It may be 60 years from now or it may be 60 seconds. With that reality in mind, I want to encourage you to make sure that you know you will spend eternity in Heaven. Make every second count that you have with your loved ones. Don’t procrastinate witnessing to these God has lain on your heart to share the gospel with. Secondly, look at the lives of those around you. You do not know when their time will come to pass into eternity. People pass into eternity every day. Not just older people, but also younger people. We need to have a desire to reach our world and our community each and every day. God told us in His word to reach everyone on the face of this planet! I want to challenge you to reach them all with the gospel of Jesus while you still can. Don’t pass up on any opportunity to witness to someone. Do everything in your power to make this day count while you still can…they won’t be around forever!” Resource: Family Devotional Guide Image Source: FreePik Share on FacebookTweetFollow usSave Encourage My Heart eternityGodheartlife
I am always putting things off. What a great reminder of only He knows what it holds and then just may not be one.
