Of all the places I have been, Amish country is right behind our trip to the British Virgin Islands. I am a stickler for non-touristy travel destinations. Watching the Amish in action combined with the beautiful scenery made for a very enjoyable trip. The only regret I have is that we did not schedule more time to visit! We will most definitely go back for another visit! Here are a few of the things we did while we were in the Lancaster, Pennsylvania area.
For most of my life, Australia has been one of my top places on my Bucket List to visit. Growing up, I loved Koala Bears (and still do). The exotic animals, majestic views, and the super fun Australian accents make me want my dream of visiting to become a reality! Like, yesterday! Here is a list of some of the places that are must-dos when I have the chance to go to Australia!
Go back to the day when cowboys, Indians, and bandits were in action as you aboard the train at Tweetsie Railroad in the beautiful Blowing Rock, NC. Ride the rides, watch the shows, shop, eat, and feed the animals all day long while enjoying the scenic views at Tweetsie.

Last summer was no fun for my kiddos! I spent most of the summer in the hospital which meant they missed out on all the typical fun a child would have during the summer months. This year, I am determined that they WILL have an awesome summer! We started it off with a trip to the Chicago area where we went downtown for a Cubs game and went on a Boat Tour of the Chicago River. This past weekend, we went to a Durham Bulls Game and the NC Escape Room which was a load of fun but then spent HOURS on Saturday at the Brick Fest in Charlotte, NC.
