Reese’s Cupfusion Has Everyone Talking… Here is Why Amy Smith, August 8, 2019 Reese’s Cupfusion is the Talk of Hershey Lovers With three children ages 16, 12, and 6, sometimes finding something that is age-appropriate and enjoyable for all three can be a challenge! We love theme parks and were so excited as we headed off to spend the day at Hershey Park. Reese’s Cupfusion As we grabbed our park maps and downloaded the park app, we were off on our journey! Our first stop was the Reese’s Cupfusion! This brand new ride is super family-friendly and interactive for ALL ages. Just what we were looking for! We hardly ever find a ride that all five of us can enjoy together and are all ABLE to ride. It was at the top on the list of everyone’s favorite rides at Hershey Park. Once loaded into the carts, each rider is equipped with a laser gun to help protect the Hershey’s Factory! Riders travel through the ride shooting a variety of different sized targets on screens as high as 22ft tall! Riders scores are individually tracked so that there can be a little friendly competition! Big Kid/Adult Rides As we continued through the park, there was an amazing blend of rides for all ages. Our boys loved the big roller coasters like Fahrenheit, Side Winder, and Storm Rider! Speaking of the coasters, our boys said their favorite without a doubt was Storm Runner! It launches riders from 0-72 in a mind-boggling two seconds (pictured above on the right side). Rides for the Little Ones While the boys waited for the coasters, there was plenty for our 6-year-old daughter to do! She really enjoyed Skyview and getting to see the park from above! She said she felt like she was flying! She also had a blast on the sweet swing and tea cups! Boardwalk at Hershey As the afternoon heat started to set in, we made our way over to the Boardwalk at Hershey. Here there are multiple water rides, a lazy river and a huge wave pool waiting to help guests beat the heat! We made our way to Tidal Force! This family-friendly ride pulled us in our raft up the steep 100-foot incline before sending us down at speeds over 50 mph and sending the biggest splash in Hershey all over both the riders and observers! We then went to the Intercoastal Waterway, a 1360 foot lazy river! What a fantastic and low key way to cool off while having a great and relaxing time! Ride the Waves! Our teenage son then talked my husband into getting on Waverider. To be honest, I think he was expecting Dad to wipe out but to his surprise, he rode and rode all the way until his time was up! I think dad’s delight of hanging tough more than offset the disappointment of our son not seeing him wipe out! We did, however, enjoy watching many others wipe out!! We then went as a family to the 378,000-gallon wave pool, The Shore! This huge pool begins with a zero-entry and goes to six-foot deep. In addition. It is a great place to catch a wave. What is Coming to Hershey Park Our day was cut short due to some pretty nasty storms in the area but it gave us just another reason to return! In addition, coming in 2020 is the all-new Hershey’s Chocolatetown! This brand new area will feature Candymonium, which will be the longest, fastest, and tallest coaster in Hershey Park. We can’t wait to go back and we are sure a visit to Hershey Park will leave you wanting more too! Connect with My Four and More on Social Media!
