Lottie Dolls are Child Inspired

You walk in your daughter’s bedroom to find her playing with her dolls. A flood of memories thinking back to being a little girl yourself brings back happy memories. That is until you notice the high heels, makeup, jewelry, skimpy clothing on their dolls. The story line your daughter is acting out is more of a teenage sounding story line. As a mom of a four-year-old daughter, I am just beginning to experience these feelings. At four, retailers are trying to encourage MY child to be so focused on her looks and style. Unfortunately, those “looks” and “styles” aren’t usually the ones that we would allow. Our kids are exposed at very young ages to immodest clothing which leaves them feeling that they need to dress or look a certain way to be “normal”. For my daughter, I want different. I want her to be comfortable in her own skin. I want her to know that her body should be covered more than uncovered. I want her to just enjoy being a KID! I want the innocence I had as a child to be something that she can experience as a child as well. That’s when I came across Lottie Dolls.

We live in a time where kids are expected to grow up way too fast in the social realm. I chose the Always Artsy Lottie Doll and the Muddy Puddles Lottie Doll. My daughter is all about art and I can’t tell you the number of times my pants have been soaked from a certain little girl jumping in puddles. She now has dolls that she can use her OWN childhood loves to create a story line each time she plays. We go from acting out dating, disrespect, and worrying about putting on makeup to drawing, splashing in puddles, and playing in the rain! Much more age appropriate play!!

I have plenty other Lottie products that I am eyeballing! Next on my list is the Autumn Leaves Lottie Doll and the Treehouse because of my daughter’s love for jumping in the leaves!

Dolls and all toys have come a LONG way since I was a child! My Barbies’ limbs didn’t even move. I think these dolls are just as cute as can be! I like their outfits and the art easel. These dolls offer a lot of imaginative fun for little girls and I know my granddaughters would love them! TY

I like these dolls aren’t sexy or look like divas. They just look like normal sweet girls.
