Fatigue can hit us at any time and it can be frustrating. You want to get things done but you feel like a snail in peanut butter. Here are some of the best home remedies for fatigue.

Natural Mint Essential Oil in a Little Glass Bottle 

Potato water – Potato water is loaded with potassium, which can help you not feel so tired and sluggish. Just slice one potato, add to a glass of water, set in the fridge overnight and drink it in the morning.

 
Dandelions – Fresh dandelions help to boost the red blood cells in your body. You can create a dandelion tea that is rich in Vitamin C and iron. In a mug, add 1 cup of fresh dandelion and 1 cup of nettle. Then, add 1 cup of boiling water, cover and steep for 8-9 minutes. Then, remove the herbs and drink the tea twice a day. Licorice – Licorice contains glycyrrhizin, which helps to fight fatigue. Take 1 tablespoon of dried licorice root, place in a mug and add 1 cup of boiling water. Cover, steep for 8-9 minutes and drink it in the morning.

 
Peppermint oil – One of the best ways to get a little pick-me-up when fatigue strikes is by using peppermint oil. Just take a tissue or paper towel, add 3 drops of peppermint oil, place it close to your nose and breath the scent in deeply.

 
Spinach – Spinach provides your body with an adequate amount of energy. One of the best ways to eat spinach to fight off fatigue is to boil it first and then add it to your favorite salad.

 
Supplements – There are some good supplements you can take to replenish your energy stores. By taking 400 milligrams of magnesium each day, you can replenish if you have a magnesium deficiency, which can cause fatigue. Other helpful supplements include ginseng and ginkgo. Ginseng is designed to give your nervous system a boost and ginkgo is designed to improve the flow of blood to your brain.
